TRIWEST CAPITAL PARTNERS SELLS TRIMLITE
Calgary, Alberta (July 29, 2021) — TriWest Capital Partners (“TriWest”) today announced that it has sold Trimlite Mfg Inc. (“Trimlite” or the “Company”), a leading manufacturer and distributor of residential doors and related door products, to Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. (“Wynnchurch”). The Company’s management team will continue to lead the business, which is headquartered in Renton, Washington.
Trimlite was founded in 1982 as a manufacturer of decorative glass inserts for steel door fabricators. Since then, the Company has evolved into a premier manufacturer and distributor of stile and rail doors, fiberglass doors, door glass and pre-hung doors for the building materials industry across North America. Trimlite has created a unique value proposition through its integrated supply chain that includes manufacturing plants in China, Vietnam, Canada and the United States, as well as strategically positioned distribution facilities across several key end markets in North America.

We very much appreciate Ross Murray (former Chief Executive Officer and sole shareholder of Trimlite) having brought TriWest and senior management in as shareholders in 2016, and wish Patrick Hooper (current Chief Executive Officer of Trimlite), together with the rest of the management team, continued success with Wynnchurch as their new partner.”

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TriWest’s financial adviser was Houlihan Lokey with legal advice provided by Ropes & Gray in the US and Bennett Jones in Canada.
