NSC Minerals is a producer and distributor of highway de-icing and industrial salt, with strong transportation and logistics capabilities. NSC is primarily engaged in providing highway de-icing salt to municipal, provincial, and state governments in Western Canada and the North Central U.S. The Company also supplies salt for retail, animal feed, and hide curing applications.

NSC has leveraged its network of strategically-located production and storage facilities, unique rail shipping capabilities, long-standing truck-based carrier relationships, and management competencies in transportation and logistics to create a highly efficient distribution network.
