Intair Fun Sun

Fun Sun Vacations Ltd. and V.I.T. Voyages Intair Transit Inc. merged on December 1, 2005 to create Canada’s leading FIT tour operator and air consolidator at the time. As a TriWest partner, the Company’s primary destinations included the US and Europe with sales in the South Pacific, Asia, Africa and Central and South America. The Company marketed its products to vacation and business travel consumers primarily through travel agencies.

Intair Fun Sun developed a number of innovative programs and services that helped support and reward its travel agent customers while building customer loyalty. Fun Sun was recognized as one of “Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies” from 2002 to 2008 and, on numerous occasions, Intair won the “Consolidator of the Year” award in Quebec and the “Agents’ Choice Award” in Canada.

Services
FIT Tour Operator

As an FIT tour operator, Intair Fun Sun advertised and promoted customizable travel components (air, hotel, transfers, car rentals, cruises and attraction tickets) that could be combined into holiday packages with flexible departure dates and variable lengths of stay.

Air Consolidator

As an air consolidator, the Company negotiated special fare arrangements with various airlines and sold seats through travel agents on an individual basis. In contrast to most of its major competitors, which were tied to charter airlines, Intair Fun Sun made exclusive use of scheduled air carriers.
