The Gardewine Group of Companies was established over 50 years ago in Thompson, Manitoba. By the late 1980s, Gardewine had grown its business into a 20- truck operation with branches throughout Manitoba. In 1993, Gardewine began offering service to communities in Northwestern Ontario including Thunder Bay, Dryden, Red Lake, Fort Frances and Kenora. In 1998, Gardewine began offering service within Northern Ontario and in 2000, a terminal was built in Sudbury, joining branches in Toronto, Kapuskasing, North Bay, Sault Ste Marie, Timmins and Wawa. Today, Gardewine operates a network of over 40 terminals throughout Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Ontario. Gardewine offers trucking services through five different brands and three operating entities.

Gardewine North
Offers less-than-truckload (LTL) and truckload (TL) service for clients in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northern and Northwestern Ontario.
Northern Cartage
Offers custom contract hauling with dedicated long distance or local cartage services to clients across central and Western Canada. Northern Cartage also offers service through its Northern Parcel, Northern Deck and Northern Logistics brands.
Northern Bulk
Specializes in the handling and transportation of bulk commodities and a variety of products related to the mining industry including ore, chemical concentrates, lime, and propane products.
