Akash Sekar
Akash Sekar joined TriWest in 2024 and is an Associate in the investment group. Prior to joining TriWest, Akash worked as an Investment Banking Associate for CIBC Capital Markets in its Energy, Infrastructure & Transition group in Calgary, where he was involved in various M&A advisory mandates, equity and debt financings across the Power, Utility and Energy Infrastructure sectors. Prior thereto, Akash began his career at Credit Suisse in its Global Energy and Infrastructure group based out of Calgary.
Akash graduated from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance (with distinction). He concurrently received his Bachelor of Arts, Economics (with distinction) from the University of Calgary.
