RTL-Robinson Enterprises and Westcan Bulk Transport Partnership Announcement

TriWest Capital Partners of Calgary, Alberta (“TriWest”) is pleased to announce that RTL-Robinson Enterprises Ltd. (“RTL”), a TriWest Fund II portfolio company, and Westcan Bulk Transport Ltd. (“Westcan”) combined operations on May 1, 2007 to create the largest niche commodity hauler in Western Canada and the dominant Alberta – NWT transportation / infrastructure company. RTL and Westcan have a long history of working together productively. By formalizing this partnership, the combined business will be better positioned to serve new and existing customers.
About RTL
Established in 1968, RTL is the largest transportation and construction company in the Northwest Territories, and is the largest private sector employer in Yellowknife. The Company’s primary operation is the transportation of freight and fuel to Yellowknife and beyond. Best known for its vital role in supplying fuel, equipment and other provisions to the multi-billion dollar diamond industry, RTL delivers thousands of truckloads each winter season via an ice road that it has historically helped to construct and maintain.
