RTL/Westcan

RTL-Robinson Enterprises Ltd. and Westcan Bulk Transport Ltd. combined operations on May 1, 2007 to create the largest bulk commodity hauler in Western Canada and the dominant Alberta – Northwest Territories transportation / infrastructure company.

Services
Commodity Haul

The Company specializes in the transportation of liquid and dry bulk commodities, including fuel, asphalt, ammonia, fertilizers, grains, ethanol, salt, sulphur and lime.

Freight Haul

The Company provides LTL service to all communities in the Western Arctic and scheduled LTL service between Edmonton, Enterprise and Yellowknife. The Company also utilizes its logistical expertise and its vast fleet of trailer configurations for a variety of unique contract hauling projects.

Winter Ice Road

For over 35 years, the Company has played a pioneering role in the route selection, construction and maintenance of winter ice roads in Canada’s North. The Company also handles the transportation of fuel, equipment and other provisions for many of the mines and communities attached to this vital transportation link.

Construction

The Company has established itself as a leading contractor for civil construction projects in the region, providing a diverse range of services including highway construction, water and sewer installation, site development and excavation and crushing activities. Through its brand Capital Transit Mix, the Company also supplies ready-mix and precast concrete to customers in Yellowknife and the surrounding area.
